WASTE TYPES and SEPARATION

Packaging waste is called packagings, which are formed after the use of the product, are reusable or unusable. Packaging wastes are classified in 5 different categories according to the raw material they are produced. These; paper / cardboard, glass, plastic, metal and composite. As long as these materials do not come into contact with organic wastes such as food residues, they can be made into raw material again. Thus, these substances can be used to make a different product and raw material is saved. By way of example, with the recycling of 1 tonne of paper, we prevent the cutting of 17 adult trees to be used for papermaking.
